Nova came to us from the same trusted hands that brought us Darkor, and while she shared his strong working lines and beautiful structure, she was different in spirit. She was young. A little unsure. The kind of girl who needed time, patience, and love before she could truly show the dog she was meant to be.

And what a dog she’s become.

Sweet-natured and soulful, Nova has blossomed into one of the most beloved hearts in our home. She’s soft in all the right ways—gentle with people, nurturing with pups, and quietly devoted to her people. There’s a kindness in her eyes that’s impossible to ignore. A grace in her movements, whether she’s following at your heel or simply watching the world go by from a shady spot in the yard.

She’s also smart—thoughtful in the way she responds, eager to please, and quick to learn when trust is given. That quiet nervousness she once carried has been replaced with calm confidence, and it’s been a gift to watch her come into her own.

Now, we have even more to look forward to: Nova has been bred to Drago, and we couldn’t be more excited to see her step into motherhood. With her temperament, intelligence, and natural warmth, we know she’s going to be the kind of mom puppies thrive under—and the kind of dog whose legacy will only grow from here.

Nova is the kind of dog who reminds us why we do this. She’s soft and strong all at once. And she’s just getting started.
